Senior Freight Buyer

The Senior Freight Buyer is responsible for negotiating and managing domestic and cross-border transportation services across North America, ensuring competitive costs, on-time deliveries, and high service levels with carriers and logistics providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements with carriers and transportation providers.
Manage domestic and international freight operations across the U.S. and Mexico.
Coordinate FTL shipments and ensure on-time delivery performance.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with logistics suppliers and carriers.
Analyze transportation costs and identify cost‐saving opportunities.
Monitor logistics KPIs such as freight cost, carrier performance, and delivery metrics.
Support sourcing activities, RFQs, carrier selection, and supplier evaluations.
Collaborate with planning, warehouse, materials, and customer service teams to support operational flow.
