Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Binnies are delighted to have an open position within their hydraulic design team which provides specialist services for water and wastewater projects both in the UK and abroad. We are looking for a new member to join our team, with capabilities in treatment plant hydraulics and/or transient analysis.

You will get the opportunity to work on interesting and varied water, wastewater and reservoir projects for the UK water companies, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Wales, and also our clients in Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia.

About the Role

The role includes:

• Undertaking hydraulic design of water and wastewater facilities
• Completing and supervising hydraulic profile calculations of water and wastewater treatment plants
• Completing transient analysis (surge) of pipelines
• Preparing technical reports
• Liaising with clients and other external organisations
