Senior Manager Group Tax

About the Role

As Senior Manager, Group Tax, you will lead the bank’s end-to-end tax function, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and risk management across both direct and indirect taxes. Sitting within Group Finance, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding the organisation’s tax position while supporting broader strategic initiatives, including finance transformation and modernisation. You will oversee all tax obligations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting while maintaining compliance with evolving regulatory and ATO requirements.

In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert for complex tax matters, providing clear, pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and the wider business. You’ll take ownership of the Group’s tax risk framework, ensuring robust controls, governance, and documentation are in place, while also acting as the key contact for external audits and regulatory reviews.
