Senior Manager Paste Filling

The Specialist/Lead for Backfilling and Paste Filling is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the complete lifecycle of paste backfill and hydraulic filling operations. The primary focus is to ensure structural stability (strata control), minimize surface subsidence, prevent spontaneous combustion in goaf areas, and maximize coal recovery safely in compliance with DGMS regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Technical Design & Optimization

• Mix Design: Develop, test, and optimize paste/hydraulic fill mix designs using industrial waste like fly ash, bottom ash, mill tailings, or crushed overburden combined with cement/binders and water.
• Rheology & Flow: Analyze the rheological (flow) properties of the paste to prevent pipeline blockages and ensure smooth gravity or pumped reticulation (distribution) from the surface to underground voids.
