Senior mechanical designer

Overview

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Mechanical Designer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington.

Responsibilities Provide support and technical guidance for a team of multi-disciplined designers. Ensure the quality of output to the required standards, consistent with the full lifecycle from concept to in-service support. Demonstrate a good understanding of engineering and design practices relevant to the discipline. Demonstrate appropriate CAD skills and effective written and verbal communications. Apply specialist knowledge and substantial experience in a design subject area. Qualifications HNC/HND minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent academic qualification. Experience in a detailed design environment. Good knowledge of CAD tools. Knowledge of General Engineering Drawing Practice. Incorporated Engineer status.
