JOB PURPOSE
Designs and reviews mechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
JOB FUNCTION
- Projects are defined and are completed within agreed time frames and customer satisfaction of end result of projects is measured
- Opportunities for improving ceramics and wear plate applications methods and ergonomics are identified and submitted to the Product Divisions for implementation
- New Product design is completed as per customer request or approved innovation and formal report details results
- Material selection and specification is analysed, tested and compared to other materials and report is produced for approval or decline
