Senior Satellite Mechanical Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking candidates for a Senior Satellite Mechanical Engineer position to lead the design, development, integration, and validation of spacecraft mechanical systems across the full mission lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop spacecraft mechanical systems including structures, mechanisms, avionics enclosures, and support assemblies.
- Create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings using NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS, NASTRAN, or equivalent FEA tools.
- Ensure designs meet launch loads, vibration, shock, thermal, and space environment requirements.
- Support Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) activities including vibration, acoustic, thermal vacuum, and shock testing.
