Responsibilities
- Evaluate applicant eligibility for loan application processing
- Verify applicant information including credit scores and valid documentation
- Examine loan documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Adhere to mortgage product guidelines and regulatory compliance
- Review and analyze mortgage loan compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and Rural Development guidelines
- Manage pipeline and report project timelines and results
- Communicate decisions and justifications clearly to appropriate parties
Requirements
- 5+ years of Residential Mortgage Underwriting experience
- Required experience with Conventional Agency guidelines
- Deep understanding of pipeline management and system supported workflows
