We are partnering with a well-capitalised European energy trading business with strong financial backing, currently expanding its proprietary power trading desks in London & Germany.
Role Responsibilities
- Short-term proprietary power trading across the front end of the curve, covering day-ahead through to front month and front quarter products across European markets
- Trade and manage cross-commodity exposure across power, gas, EUA and spread markets
- Work closely with traders, analysts and quants to develop and enhance trading strategies, including algorithmic approaches
- Operate with significant autonomy, strong liquidity access and an established risk framework
- Hybrid working environment with collaborative international teams
