OPEN POSITION: SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER
Location: Port Elizabeth (Automotive Industry)
Reference: PE -MVDM-1
Purpose of Role: Assist Materials Planning & Logistics Manager with various planning & continuous improvement duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Requirements:
- National Diploma / BTech in Logistics / Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 5-6 years automotive experience essential
- MRP system experience essential
- Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & IATF 16949 Elements
Duties include overseeing the day-to-day production planning, planning & scheduling workflow for all departments, preparing production reports, analysing the production specifications & assisting in continuous improvement projects.
