Senior Risk & Controls Analyst, Line 1

The Senior Risk & Control Analyst is responsible for supporting the effective management of operational, compliance and conduct risks within the business.

The role provides risk and control expertise across the end-to-end lending/credit cards & sales finance lifecycle — including origination, marketing, product management, credit assessment, account management and collections — ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in alignment with the organisation’s Risk Management Framework and regulatory obligations.

The role provides challenge and oversight to ensure that the first line of defence is effectively managing risk and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The Senior Risk & Control Analyst acts as a trusted advisor to the business, partnering with leaders to embed a proactive risk culture, enhance control effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement in customer and risk and compliance outcomes.
