Senior Sourcing Development Engineer

Position SummaryManage continuous improvement activities with STERISs Monterrey Plant.
The successful candidate will identify, plan, coordinate and implement improvement projects in quality, cost, and delivery between the respective entities.
Establish and maintain liaison relationship with Monterrey engineering, current products engineering, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, purchasing, planning, marketing departments, and the supply base to meet cost optimization objectives.DutiesWork individually or with cross-functional teams on new and existing products to develop parts cost optimization programs.
This may be accomplished through techniques such as design analysis, material substitution or standardization, part count reduction, design simplification, manufacturing process simplification or other proven cost optimization techniques.Implement improvements for cost optimization, cycle time reduction initiatives with suppliers, and process improvements.
