We are looking for an experienced
Senior SOX Compliance Specialist
to join the Budapest-based SSC of one of our international partners.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting and enhancing SOX compliance processes within a global environment.
Key responsibilities:
Support and coordinate end-to-end SOX 404 compliance activities
Document, review, and test business processes and internal controls
Perform risk assessments and evaluate control environments
Identify control gaps and follow up on remediation actions
Act as a point of contact for international stakeholders and external auditors
Review the work of junior team members and provide professional guidance
Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience (SOX, internal or external audit)
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
