  Overview 
 A well-established company is currently seeking the expertise of an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team of professionals in Cape Town.
 
   Responsibilities:  
 Preparing reports, designs and drawings
 Making calculations about loads and stresses
 Selecting appropriate construction materials
 Providing technical advice
 Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval
 Liaising with relevant professional staff such as architects
 Monitoring and inspecting work is undertaken by contractors
 Administering contracts
 Managing projects
 Inspecting bridges to check conditions/foundations.
 
   Key Requirements:  
 Professional registration as PrEng or PrTechEng
 5 years’ structural design experience in bridge design.
