Rather than being heavily design-led, this role is centred around understanding existing buildings, identifying problems, advising clients and becoming the engineer people rely on when something needs investigating properly.
The team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who is either Chartered or close to achieving Chartership and enjoys the practical side of engineering just as much as the technical side. Someone comfortable pulling on boots, heading to site, speaking directly with clients and producing clear, detailed reports that actually influence decisions.
