Project

The Eagle Mountain to Woodfibre Pipeline Project (EGP) involves the construction of an approximately 51 kilometre expansion of a portion of FortisBC’s existing natural gas pipeline system that serves Squamish, the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island. It involves adding new 24‑inch pipe, beginning at the Eagle Mountain Compressor Station in Coquitlam and ending at the proposed Woodfibre LNG site, the expansion of the Eagle Mountain Compressor Station, the construction of a new compressor station at the Woodfibre site and a 9 km tunnel for the new pipeline between Squamish and the Woodfibre site.
