Senior Underwriter - Ceded Retrocession

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, organised and hardworking individual to join our Group Retrocession team. The role involves managing and optimising a diverse portfolio of ceded retrocession and reinsurance programmes across multiple lines of business, with broad exposure to both Cat and Non‑Cat protections. The position offers close interaction with internal stakeholders, brokers and senior client relationships, and the opportunity to contribute directly to strategic decision‑making.

Placement Management

• Managing the process of data collection and selection to prepare a high‑quality submission to the market.
• Managing across the lifecycle of placements, including pre‑renewal kick‑offs, renewals, and post‑renewal de‑briefs/updates together with brokers.
