Role Summary
The Senior Workshop Mechanic will serve as the Workshop Leader , overseeing daily workshop operations and supervising a team of 4 mechanics. This role ensures efficient maintenance and repair of Mercedes, Volvo, and MAN diesel trucks while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the workshop team of 4 mechanics
- Plan and supervise daily repair and maintenance activities
- Repair, overhaul, or replace diesel engines and transmissions
- Diagnose and repair engine electronics and faults
- Perform vehicle safety inspections
- Manage and execute preventive maintenance programs
- Run diagnostic tests and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate service records and daily fleet checklists
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workshop
