Description Position: Busperson (Back of House Support Staff) Essential Purpose To provide support to the service staff to maintain proper flow of guest service and optimal appearance of the restaurant. Essential Duties To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner. To work as a team with servers in performing routine support services in the restaurant, including setting up the dining room; clearing and resetting tables between courses and after meals; providing guests with water, butter, and appetizers; and serving all food and beverages as requested by the server. To provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to guests, including taking and properly delivering food and beverage orders; and opening, closing, and presenting guest checks.
