Server Operations Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan server or rack layouts, arrange for server mounting, and oversee the installation of server operating systems
• Perform daily maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, manage break-fix and resolve issues related to server and other hardware
• Maintain and update internal systems data such as Asset Management, Ticketing, and Rack Elevation
• Collaborate with remote vendors to address and resolve hardware failures and issues
• Provide on-call support, addressing and resolving issues raised by business owners or stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
• Collect and verify online asset data
• Submit, track, and manage the RMA process and oversee media destruction processes
• Diagnose and resolve server network connectivity issues
• Manage server lifecycle activities
• Perform other server operations-related duties as required
