About the role

Reporting to the Operations Team, the Underground Service Technician plays a key role in ensuring underground mining activities operate safely and efficiently. You will support development operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing underground services, contributing to ground support activities, and assisting with the preparation of production areas to ensure safe and productive outcomes.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with underground experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work effectively as part of a high‑performing team.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
Installing and repairing underground services on development headings

Setting up and maintaining ventilation systems, including building vent walls

Tensioning cables to support ground control and structural safety

Preparing production drill hole sites to support mining activities
