Job Description Summary
The OSS specialist will have technical knowledge and experience working with GE/Alstom and oOEM turbines. He/she is responsible for the onsite machining of major rotating equipment addition He/she will set up and operate a variety of manual and numerically controlled machine tools.

- Execute assignments according to GE Environmental Health & Safety and Quality requirements & ensure rules are understood by the crew prior to the start of work.
- Provide technical and Environmental Health & Safety direction to those performing the work on Customer sites.
- Lead and supervise repair jobs at Customer sites and act as the representative of OSS in front of the customer (internal and external) to ensure safe quality and timely completion of work.
