Sessional Lecturer, Sociology

The Department of Sociology invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2026-27 Regular session:

Course Number, Section, and Name: SOC (02) Youth Crime, Justice, and Social Control
Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January to April, 2027)
CRN: 33218
Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a lecture.
Course Schedule:
Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 to 9:50am
Expected Enrollment Limit: 60
Qualifications:
A minimum of an degree in Sociology is required. A in Sociology or a related discipline, along with relevant teaching experience, is preferred.

A valid driver’s license is required for off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
