Our client is a manufacturing company that deals into office furniture like chairs, table, etc. Sewer will be operating an industrial sewing machine with a mixture of fabric and leather. They will be sewing seating for office chairs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Creates slip covers skillfully and according to instructions
Sews quality covers as integral part of production process for standard and special orders.
Aligns parts, fasteners, and trimmings, following seams, edges, or marking.
Selects threads and zippers according to specifications or colour of parts.
Trims excess threads and edges of covers to achieve desired look of quality product.
Identifies and addresses issues with materials, ensuring quality standards are upheld.<...
