Kalagadi Manganese Mine is situated in the town of Hotazel 70km from Kuruman, Northern Cape Province. ROLE DESCRIPTION: Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants with a legal appointment as a 2.15.1, who will be reporting to the Mine Overseer. Responsible for safety and health of employees in your section.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan activities in accordance with operational and maintenance schedules and allocate resources as required. Responsible for planning, organizing, leading and control of material, equipment, machinery and other resources required to achieve daily and monthly production targets. Communicate service department recommendations to miners and team and ensure compliance thereof. Weekly measurements and plotting of advancing faces and take corrective action to ensure max advance is achieved. Conduct early and late shifts as required by law.
