The issue

As energy storage becomes a critical component of modern power systems, BESS projects play a key role in supporting grid stability, energy security, and the transition to a low-carbon future.

The Project 

We are currently seeking a Site Manager to support the delivery of a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project for a leading international EPC contractor.

The project involves the installation and commissioning of a large-scale energy storage facility, including battery containers, a centralized Fire Suppression System (FSS), PCS and MV stations, PPC, SCADA systems, and full Grid Code compliance and integration.

Overview of the rôle

– Coordinate and supervise BESS installation and commissioning activities, with a strong focus on electrical systems and site interfaces.

– Manage subcontractors and ensure safe, efficient execution of works related to batteries, PCS/Inverters, MV/HV systems, ...
