Skilled Technician - Level II
Job Summary
The Skilled Technician Level II performs skilled technical activities that support manufacturing business needs. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical, automation, robotics, and industrial control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. The technician works with limited supervision while applying Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, quality procedures, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, breakdown, and emergency maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and operational reliability.
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, PLCs, control panels, industrial drives, motion systems, automation equipment, and electronic systems.
