SMELTER
Our client, a blue chip company based in the Vaal Triangle has a vacancy for a Smelter with the following:
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or N3.
- Experience operating industrial machinery or furnaces.
- Experience with specific smelting processes.
Requirements
- Experience in operating smelting equipment
- Operate and monitor smelting equipment to process raw materials into finished metal products
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a smelting environment
- Ability to monitor and adjust smelting process variables to maintain product quality
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
- Basic understanding of chemical reactions and their effect on smelting process
- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment
- Ability to troubleshoot for minor repairs on equipment
