Software Engineer, AI Platform

Harvey is seeking a Software Engineer to join their AI Platform team in Toronto. This role focuses on building foundational AI infrastructure such as model routing, agent architecture, context management, and evaluation tooling that supports all product teams. The engineer will design and develop platform-level systems to improve the reliability and quality of Harvey’s agentic AI products.

This position suits candidates with 5+ years of backend experience, including at least 1 year in AI/ML engineering, who have worked on multi-model AI systems and internal infrastructure adopted across teams. Strong judgment in system design, a bias for ownership, and an interest in agentic AI are important. Experience in evaluation frameworks, autonomous systems, or high-stakes domains is a plus.
