About the job
Like Google's own ambitions, the work of a Software Engineering Manager goes way beyond just Search. You will be a technical leader, hiring and managing software engineers and working cross‑functionally with stakeholders across Google to enable risk reduction goals. You will build and lead a foundational team in the Cloud & Third‑Party Security team in Singapore, focusing on security gaps in public cloud infrastructure (GCP), third‑party vendors, and SaaS.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of software engineers, combining technical leadership and people management to build scalable products that identify and remediate security gaps in Alphabet's usage of public cloud infrastructure, third‑party vendors, and SaaS.
- Drive the technical roadmap to support risk reduction goals, addressing ambiguous problems and ensuring technical excellence.
