Job Description
A day in the life of a Software Quality Assurance Developer at Esri Canada
- Executes test cases (manual and automated) based on established test plans to validate product functionality, performance, and usability.
- Participates a range of testing activities, including unit, integration, regression, UI/UX, and user acceptance testing, with guidance from more senior QA resources.
- Records, documents, and tracks defects using Azure DevOps or a similar tool, ensuring issues are clearly described and reproducible.
- Supports defect triage activities by validating fixes and re‑testing resolved issues.
- Assists in the maintenance and enhancement of test cases, test data, and testing documentation.
- Collaborates with developers, QA team members, and implementation teams to clarify requirements and expected system behaviour.
