Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to work within a secondary school in the Southport area to cover maternity leave. Please see below for further details:

Location – Southport, PR8

Position – Spanish Teacher

Start date – April 2026

Full time/part time – Full time, covering maternity leave

Minimum rate of pay – Paid to scale

Hours – 8:00 am – 16:00 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing lesson plans aligned with standards, teaching grammar, and vocabulary

Setting and marking classwork, homework, and exams; tracking progress to identify areas for improvement.

Maintaining a positive, encouraging and safe environment.

Reporting progress to parents, attending staff meetings, and collaborating with departments.
