Specialist Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong technical engineering background coupled with robust analytical skills to support the design and development of the electricity transmission network of the future. This role is targeted at an individual who is focused on applying practical engineering judgement which will be informed by prior operational, asset, or design experience, rather than a detailed power system study practitioner.

You will join National Grid and work closely with power system experts, supporting key power system decision‑making through technically robust analysis, engineering insight, and challenge.
