Specialist, Systems Engineer (Wideband Planner)

Job Description:

The Wideband Planner will be proficient in accepting, developing, and planning Satellite Access Requests (SARs) for wideband SATCOM terminals on the Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS), the Wideband Global Satellite (WGS), and the Global Broadcast Service (GBS) missions received from various government and military agencies. These agencies include but are not limited to: the SATCOM Command and Control Centers (SC2Cs), the Network Operations Centers (NOCs), the Space Operations Centers (SOCs), the SATCOM System Experts (SSEs), the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), the Department of Defense and Combatant Commands (CCMDs), the Department of State, the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), the Joint Staff (JS), and multiple International Partners (IPs).
