We are looking to recruit a enthusiastic and innovative Speciality Doctor to join our dynamic team at the Northern Care Alliance. The right candidates will be working within our Accident and Emergency department at Fairfield General Hospital in Bury. Current full registration with the GMC is essential.
Main duties of the job
Active participation in the reception, initial diagnosis, investigation and treatment of patients attending the Emergency Department. Where appropriate, the post holder will refer them to the relevant speciality. The post holder will conduct follow‑up clinics within the Emergency Department as directed by the Consultants. The post holder will be expected to deputise for absent colleagues and handle exceptional irregular commitments outside normal roster duties, such as occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances. Other duties may be allocated by the Consultants to ensure proper care of patients.
