Specialty Doctor in Geriatric Medicine

This Specialty Doctor post offers the opportunity to work as an integral member of the Bristol Care Home Interface Project, an interdisciplinary team providing proactive and holistic geriatric review to care home residents across BNSSG funded for 15 hours per week.

The post-holder will be part of a team comprised of physician associates, specialist clinical pharmacists, trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners, GPwERs, and geriatricians. The team aims to improve NHS support in care homes and strengthen links between care homes, community services, and primary/secondary care.

We are looking for a GP with a specialist interest in frailty, or an experienced frailty doctor, who can work as an independent practitioner when seeing patients in care homes and supervise more junior multidisciplinary team members.
