Speech and Language Therapy Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech and LanguageTherapy Assistant to join our supportive andforward-thinking team, helping to promote and facilitate effectivecommunication for all.

This role involvesdelivering speech and language therapy services across primary and secondary mainstream schools andresource bases on the Fylde Coast, supporting children and young people withSpeech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Special Educational Needs(SEN). The successful candidate will also contribute to a bi-monthly transdisciplinary early years triage panel to allocate and coordinate services across multiple agencies.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidatewill bring knowledge and experience of working with children and young peoplewith a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, includingneurodivergent individuals.
