About the job SQL Database Administrator
- Experience as a MS SQL Server database administrator.
- Expertise with performance Tuning and T-SQL Optimisation.
- Experience with busy databases handling large volumes of transactions per day.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders up to C-level
- A natural problem solver with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Experience of decision making in a pressurised environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- University degree or equivalent from a knowledge & experience perspective
Nice to have:
- Experience in Microsoft Azure would be considered a strong asset
- Experience with any of the following considered an asset; Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, MongoDB, MySQL, Terraform, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage
