Position Summary The Sr. Data Network Engineer is responsible for the architecture, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of the network communications at WSSC Water. Utilizing extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, the role will hold responsibilities in areas of administration, engineering, architecture, monitoring, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, and DNS and DHCP appliances and work collaboratively with IT team members on technology project implementations. 
The Sr. Data Network Engineer will develop and maintain documentation, including addressing plans, network topology diagrams, rack elevation, data flows, and variables.
