Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Applied Physics, or related field 10+ years of experience designing analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits Expertise in precision, low-noise sensing and signal processing with integration to embedded microcontrollers Strong background in optical transceivers and data networking applications Hardware design experience including digital peripherals, analog instruments, switching supplies, CAN, RS232, USB, I2C, SPI Circuit design and simulation proficiency (OrCAD, LTspice, pSpice) and PCB layout tools Firmware development experience with embedded microcontrollers in C, Basic, or Wiring Self-starter with ability to work independently in early-stage startup environment with minimal supervision Experience with free space optics or optical communication systems preferred
