Sr. Foreman - Mines

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily mining activities in open-pit mines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, mining laws, and company policies. Monitor drilling, blasting, excavation, loading, hauling, and other mining operations. Conduct workplace inspections and identify potential hazards. Ensure proper use and maintenance of mining equipment and machinery. Allocate tasks and manage work schedules for miners and operators. Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational logs. Train workers on safety procedures, equipment operation, and emergency response. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with engineers, geologists, surveyors, and maintenance teams to optimize production.
