Our valued public sector client is looking for Sr. Help Desk Specialist to provide on-site support (Victoria BC, Saskatoon, & St. John's) of applications, desktops, and IT hardware for a Windows upgrade project.
Hourly rate range: $29.39/hr – $39.03/hr
This Windows 7-10 upgrade project requires on-site work, and opportunities exist in Victoria BC, Saskatoon, & St. John's. Once the project is complete, the opportunity exists for successful candidates to continue working on future projects.
Tasks include:
Work directly with end-users to receive devices and determine what level of support is required for upgrades from Windows 7 to Windows 10
In some cases, perform the required Windows 10 upgrades on existing devices
In some cases, perform data backups and set up users with new machines
Perform a variety of network problem analysis and monitoring tasks, such as
