Job Description
We are seeking a Mainframe Engineer to join our team.
The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Java applications that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Requirements
- Expertise in COBOL/DB2/JCL
- Design, code, test, and debug COBOL-DB2 applications
- Write complex SQL queries
- Familiarity with z/OS, TSO/ISPF environment
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development
Desirable
- Experience with IMS database and VSAM
- Exposure to online transaction processing like CICS or IMS-DC
- Exposure to tools like SPUFI and File-aid
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
Advanced English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
