Job Description
Set performance goals for the shipping, receiving and material handling departments and establish actions plans to meet them.
Ensure storage and distribution activities are performed according safe regulations and policies to minimize the risk of employee injury and material damage.
Drive compliance to tender lead-times for outbound carrier notifications
Assure product shipments are customs compliant.
Keep staff fully trained and compliant with regulations
Responsible for the security of the finished goods transportation and disposition.
Conduct performance reviews for team members
Lead lean, cost savings and continuous improvement projects related to shipping, space optimization, materials handling and storage.
Generates regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Point of contact for customer service for shipping documentation or information.
