Sr/ Manufacturing Engineer (Mexicali)

Role Summary

Manufacturing Engineer with the seniority to take high impact projects from conception to conclusion, resulting in revenue increase, cost reduction, safety, and ergonomics improvements for the site.

Responsibilities

• Process definition and manufacturing readiness, including deliverables such as layout, line balance, cell/line design, material presentation, tooling and fixturing, process documentation, training, and first pass yield.
• Equipment and technology selection with capital justification and approval.
• Tracking and performance of business unit and functional KPIs including scrap, operation supplies, changeover time, standard hours, and cost reduction projects.
• Implementation of lean and operational systems within the business unit: standard work, SMED, poka-yoke, root cause analysis, and preventive/corrective actions.
