Basic Function
Under the functional guidance of the Engineering Manager or Sr Staff Engineer, the Sr Mechanical Engineer will execute the development of new faucet and sanitary products and the adaptation and redesign of existing products for introduction into various markets.
Specific Responsibilities
Executes complex engineering projects involving development of new products and changes to existing products including specification, concept, design, qualification, and verification of products and sub‐assemblies.
Creates and maintains product specifications to meet Kohler and regulatory requirements.
Applies standard engineering tools such as CAD (CREO), Bills of Materials (SAP), GD&T, DFMEA and FEA.
Uses engineering tools to ensure robust design of products that meet market needs, cost targets, margin goals, code requirements.
