Sr Product Engineer

Overview:
The purpose of this position is to Design filters to customer's specs using design manufacturing techniques while staying within customer cost restraints.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies
- Establish project requirements with sales and customers
- Establish current manufacturing methods with manufacturing
- Design new manufacturing methods with manufacturing
- Building and testing sample filters
- Works with purchasing to spec and coordinate raw materials
- Set up project costs with costing department
- Fulfill all packaging requirements by working with vendors
- Create quality requirements with Quality control
- Work with all departments to guide and troubleshoot new product startups
- Regular testing of existing products to ensure compliance to claims
