Staff Education Coordinator (RPN)

Status: Full Time, Permanent

Location: On site at 635 Prince Charles Dr N, Welland, ON

Under the direction of the Administrator, the Staff Education Coordinator at Jarlette Health Services will work under the direction of the Director of Resident Care and provide leadership for coordinating and meeting the learning and educational needs of the staff at the home.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (Reg. 246/22, s. 51)
• Successful completion of or enrollment in Long Term Care Senior Management or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in Long Term Care (Gerontology) preferred
• Active interest in ongoing education
• Computer literate
• Ability to assess, implement, evaluate, report and document actions to affect positive outcomes related to the residents’ health
