Staff Engineer

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to drive our technical vision and architecture. In this role, you will solve complex, ambiguous problems, deliver both high-level blueprints and hands-on code, and raise the engineering bar across multiple organizations. This is a consulting job and the client is one of the major insurance companies in North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture: Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale distributed systems across multiple teams and orgs.
• Standards: Set and enforce company-wide technical standards, engineering practices, and methodologies.
• Problem Solving: Translate complex, ambiguous business problems into concrete technical solutions.
• Execution: Deliver both hands-on technical work (code, design docs) and high-level architectural blueprints.
