Staff Nurse (Office Hours)

PURPOSE Provision of care for patients undergoing radiation treatment and takes up clinical responsibilities while keeping with functional duties within the centre. Duties And Responsibilities Provides good practical skills and to lead a team of patient care assistants and health attendants in area assigned to. Provides good individual patient care and services with regards to specific nursing competencies such as doing dressings and cannulating patients. Displays confidence and well-versed in briefing patients prior to all radiation therapy procedures such as consultation, CT simulation, radiation therapy treatment and post treatment. Displays competency in providing timely nursing advice to patients and family members. Assist radiation oncologists in consultations and be competent in necessary procedures.
